1. About Us
Revelation Improvement Group (Company No: 16456235) provides property renovation, maintenance, and specialist services across West Cumbria. These terms apply to all services we provide.
2. Quotations
Quote Validity: All quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. After 14 days, prices may be subject to change due to material costs or market conditions.
Site Visits: We provide free, no-obligation site visits and quotations. Quotations are based on information provided and site conditions observed.
Accuracy: We take reasonable care to provide accurate quotations. However, quotations are estimates and may be subject to variation if site conditions differ from those initially assessed.
3. Deposits & Payment Terms
Deposit Required: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be specified in your quotation.
Deposit Use: The deposit covers materials, tools, and lead costs. Once materials are ordered, the deposit is non-refundable.
Payment Terms: The balance is due on completion of works. We accept bank transfer, card payment, and cash.
Stage Payments: For larger projects, stage payments may be agreed in writing.
4. Workmanship Guarantee
Guarantee Period: All workmanship is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of completion.
Scope: The guarantee covers defects in workmanship only, not wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by third parties.
Claim Process: Any defects must be reported in writing within 14 days of discovery. We will remedy defects at no additional cost within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Cancellation Policy
Before Work Begins: If you cancel before work commences, the deposit is non-refundable but may be credited toward a future project.
After Work Begins: If you cancel after work has commenced, you are liable for all costs incurred, including labour and materials.
Postponement: If you wish to postpone work, this must be agreed in writing. Postponement beyond 30 days may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
6. Variations & Additional Works
Change Orders: Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be approved in writing before work commences. Additional costs will be quoted separately.
Unforeseen Issues: If unforeseen issues arise during work (e.g., structural problems, hidden damage), we will notify you immediately and provide a revised quotation.
7. Health & Safety
Site Access: You must ensure safe access to the work area and remove any hazards. We are not responsible for damage to existing structures or contents.
Insurance: Revelation Improvement Group is fully insured with Public Liability £1,000,000 — Certificate available on request
Compliance: All work is carried out in compliance with UK Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
8. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: In the event of a dispute, we will attempt to resolve it amicably through direct communication.
Formal Complaint: If informal resolution fails, you may submit a formal written complaint to [email protected]
Legal Action: These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services in question.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
